What is Wire'O binding?
A Wire'O or Wire Coil booklet is composed of several sheets of paper that are bound together with a metal coil.
Because of the nature of the binding, a Wire'O booklet must have a page count multiple of 2.
Spiral binding is also available and features a plastic spiral instead of metal.
The particularity of Wire'O is that the booklet can be opened flat on a surface.
Other binding methods are available if you prefer staples like Saddle-stitch and Square Bind or if you have a larger page count, Perfect bind
The uses of Wire'O binding
Wire'O is mostly used for calendars, traning manuals, field manuals etc...
The nature of the binding allows the booklet to lay flat, making it easy to see / read two pages at once.
The paper can be anything you like but it is preferable to use a paper that is not too thin (heavier than 80# text) in order to avoid torn pages.
